:: Synopsis
"Dali" is a look at the most controversial and enigmatic (and did
I mention famous) artist of the twentieth century.
Dali is a troubled young artist who, haunted by his dead mother and
overbearing father, retreats into fantasy in order to cope. This fantastical
imagination that helps him survive becomes the basis of his strange
and fanciful art; an art that many admire but few understand. That is, except for Gala, the statuesque Russian that appears to him as an answer to a childhood dream.
He devotes himself and his work entirely to her, she cares for him tirelessly, and they take the world by storm. But even love can't seem to rescue Dali from his difficulties in coping with the outside world, as the eccentricities that made him famous begin to threaten his career, his love, and even his life.
